Saturday

Dad & Kids Day.

Soboro and I took the kids out fishing on Saturday. Soboro's daughter will soon be leaving to college so he wanted to take her fishing to our favorite creek in KangWonDo.  The water was running a little high from the recent rains and the fishing was tough, but we had a great time anyway.  My kids were more interested in building small rock dams & checking out creatures around the creek.  I am glad we have fishing to bring the family together.

  3. The vacation season has started here in Korea and most of the creeks with pensions (lodges) will be filled with people for the next three weeks. I need to spend some time seeking out new creeks that is less populated.

Hi Hank, yes I have moved to Seoul. Soboro & Jonathan already lives here. Have you started working yet? How is Caddis & Wesley? Please say hello for me. Keep in touch.

  4. It was good to be out there with kids. We can't say we were really into "catching" mode, but it was a nice feeling that we could share the experience with whom we care the most. Thanks GF for arranging the occasion.

  8. Aw… That was sweet of you to spend some quality time together before Soboro’s daughter went to college. It’ll be a whole different life for her, and it was nice that she had fun memories to bring with her in the new place she’ll be staying. This fishing experience will surely be one of the things she’ll be looking forward to when going home, besides the family. :D How many buckets did you fill with fish, by the way?
