A few months ago on a hot summer day, I went fishing with my good friend. After parking my car right near the creek, I stared to walking down to the water ahead of my friend. Right at the moment, as I was starting to climbing down the metal wired rock hill, I got stung by some kind of bees … many times on my both arms. It was so painful that I ran into the water at full speed. It still gives me a chill when I thinking about that incident.

I know a bee attack isn’t anything to laugh about but it was funny watching from a distance, how you hyper shifted from 'on the hill' to 'middle of water' in like one second. I guess in times of need, our body & mind adjusts to hyper speed as needed, allowing us to navigate down the rocks at those kinds of speed. Stay away from bees!
ReplyDeletei once fished a secret creek where for some reason there were lots of bees in the water. fish would'nt eat them. just as well i don't have a bee fly.
ReplyDeleteonce i had a bunch of people from the city at my cabin. Most of them grew up in city. Fooled them once while we were hiking in wood by yelling out "oh shit bear" and ran off just to see their reaction. Just as suspected they all ran faster than I've expected. On same hiking trail, i somehow managed to disturb a beehive. By instict, I said "oh shit bees!" and ran. Just as I turned to see if my friends were following me, they were being stung by the bees at the spot where I disturbed the hive which is about 50 feet from where I stood... Sad story...
ReplyDeleteyeah, it's a sad story for your friends.
ReplyDeleteYou know the one- two step tactics for surviving a bear attack when with other people … step (1) you don’t need to run that fast, just make sure you run faster than the other guy. step (2) if that fails, just make sure that other guy is between you and the bear.
