Skunked in Paradise
Inspired by Charles, headed up to Paradise Springs for an afternoon. It was pretty as ever and those trout were picky as ever. Putting up a few photos anyway for mrLee, so he can remember what it looked like.
It's a pretty fantastic place. Sized enough to make one wish that it was on your own property. Then I would put in some not so picky fish.
There's nothing more crushing to confidence than being taunted by seemingly smart hatchery fish. I always say I like challenging fish, until they are so challenging that I catch none.
Talking about skunked at the pond, I do get that at the pond. But then again, often I noticed that there is definitely feeding time. Just like the clock, they do start to bite at certain time.
Something about that place...seems very tranquil
ReplyDeletethe secret is the bait and switch. then again I get skunked these days at the ponds in Yongin...
