My First Bamboo Rod

For our 15th year anniversary, Patty ordered me a bamboo rod from Oyster Fine Bamboo Rod Company. I will get the rod sometime in January. I feel like a little boy who is about to receive the best gift ever!

    That is a beautiful rod Charles. You must be already thinking about spring creek. What number rod are you getting?

    Oh I am so ready for this rod!!! I got 7feet 3wt rod. Originally wanted a Ron Kusse's magnum o'pus rod but have to wait 2 years for it. Come over in spring and I will spoil the hell out of you... Heck I might even have a bamboo rod for you as I am seriously thinking about buying all the equipments....

    GF. Also signed up for a week long rod making class with the oyster co. Wanna join? They have a spot open for third week of February.
