jumbo sized flies…I like them.

There’s something about big flies that is very beautiful. The thought of catching big pike & bass, the way these flies will swim in the water, and the pure elegance of its aesthetic. I am learning how to tie these jumbo sized flies, and can’t wait to get out on the water with them in spring.

    Nice flies. The deerhair diver is really great in shallow water, especially when there is Pickerel reeds. I've been flyfishing for pike for 20+ years and my fvorite streamers are made from Marabou. Easy to tie, surprisingly durable, and outfishes anything else...including bunny strips.

    Thanks for the comments, and I will certainly have to order your book. I'm a beginner with pikes & never caught a Muskie, but I am very interested. I have friends who chase Muskie on hard tackle and from looking at the photos, it’d mesmerizing. Can’t wait to receive your book. Thanks.
