Opsariichthys bidens
One more early August catch. My friends been hanging out with the Rainbow Fly Fishing Club guys and they have this thing called “lightening trips”. They basically text each other at the spur of the moment, and whoever is available will go on a fly trip to somewhere within 2-3 hour range. It’s hardcore fishing for another 2-3 hours then back into the city. My friend hooked this nice Opsariichthys bidens (Chinese hook snout carp) on a dry fly that evening. He’s been fishing so hard recently that he’s now able to teach me a thing or two about fishing in the homeland. Keep on fishing brother!
